Announcements 12/24-1/03

• Our first morning practice will be on December 26th from 6-8 am. We will also have morning practices from 6-8 am on the 27th, 31st, and Jan. 2nd. These are optional.
• We have our meet with Bellefonte on Dec. 28th. This meet will begin at 1 pm. Swimmers will need to be on deck by 11:30 am. Other teams coming to this meet are: Penns Valley, St. Joe's, and Juniata Valley. If we could have parents come to help set up as well as stay after the meet to take down, that would be very helpful! 
• There will be a pizza party hosted by the Andrews on Sat. Dec 29th at the McVeytown Presbyterian Church from 1-4. 
• A fundraiser for R&K Subs will be handed out at practice this afternoon (12/21). The order forms and money will be due by January 7th, and the delivery date is January 22nd at 2 pm. We ask that you either complete the fundraiser or donate $25 to the team. Checks can be made out to the MCHS Swim team.
• We have a home swim meet against Trinity on January 3rd. Swimmers will need to be on deck by 4:30. The meet begins at 6 pm. 

Announcements for 12/17-12/21

Important announcements:

• We have our away swim meet against Cumberland Valley tomorrow. Swimmers will be dismissed at 1:45 and the bus will leave the high school at 2. The meet begins at 4:15. If a student is participating in the Christmas spirit week (tomorrow is it's beginning to look a lot like the holidays where you are encouraged to come dressed in a traditional holiday color scheme: green and red, blue and white, red and white etc.) they do not have to dress up for the meet tomorrow. 
• There will be no dryland this Wednesday 12/19.
• Thursday is our first home meet against Hershey. Swimmers will need to be on deck by 4:30. The team usually goes to Subway before heading over to the YMCA for anyone who is interested. The meet will begin at 6 pm.
• Friday 12/21 there will be dryland from 6:15-7:15 am.
• Friday 12/21 is also our Secret Santa gift exchange. Each swimmer pulled a name to buy a little gift for (spending limit was $10). Please be sure to bring your gift to practice that day, we will exchange at the beginning of practice. 
• Friday 12/21 is also the due date for t-shirt order forms for the Arctic Classic (invitational 1/05). We will be asking throughout the week if you would like a t-shirt. Cost is $12 for a shirt. Please make checks payable to Gretchen Seyler. Picture of the t-shirt is below:

Just a note about holiday practices: We will not have morning practice on the 24th. Holiday practices will take place on the 26th, 27th, 31st, and Jan. 2nd. We have a swim meet on the 28th. We will have four lanes from 6-8 am. These are optional.
