Christmas Break Schedule

December 29th- Morning Practice 5:30 am- 7 am, afternoon practice 3:30-5:30 pm
December 30th- Morning Practice 5:30 am-7 am
December 31st- Morning practice 5:30-7 am
January 1st- Happy New Year! No Practice
January 2nd- Morning practice 5:30-7 am, afternoon practice 3:30-5:30 pm
Try to make it to as many practices as you can!!!!!!!!!!

Arctic Classic Information

The Arctic Classic is taking place on Saturday, January 10th. We were sent warm up times today. Our warm up time is from 8:30 am- 9:30 am in lanes 2 and 3. From 10:30 to 10:45 will be one way 25 yard sprints. The pool will be cleared at 10:45.
The following are rules they would like us to share:

• No diving off blocks until sprint lanes open at 10:30 am.
• Must wear shirt, shorts, and shoes when leaving the pool area.
• Absolutely no food or drink in the pool area or gymnasium.
• There will be a concession/table area close to the gym are for eating purposes.
• No swimmers in the balcony/spectator area.
• No spectators on the pool deck.
• Report to your events on time.

The bus will be leaving at 6:15 am that morning!!!

Swim Meet December 23rd

Swimmers will be let out of practice a little early tonight as I promised them last Friday. Tomorrow is our swim meet against State College. It begins at 6 pm. Our warm ups will begin at 4:50 and we will warm up until 5:20 and State College will warm up from 5:20 to 5:50. Then we will have ten minutes to have the officials meeting and get organized. Tomorrow we will wear anything huskies/ purple and jeans. I would like swimmers on deck by 4:40 so we can get stretching in before we warm up.

Announcements December 17

• Swimmers will be able to choose two events for the Arctic Classic. Forms will be handed out at practice tonight to be handed into me at tomorrow's practice.
• Swimmers will also receive a form to order an Arctic Classic shirt. We only have until Friday to hand the order forms in so these need to be handed into Melissa ASAP! Cost of t-shirts are $12.00.
• Parent meeting tomorrow after practice at 5:30 at the YMCA. Just a quick meeting to introduce myself and get contact information from parents.

Friday we will have 4 lanes! Be prepared for a tough practice!! Fun Friday!

Make sure you are rinsing off before getting in the pool.

I will keep you updated on morning practice. I’m hoping we can start next week. I will also keep you updated on swimming hours over Christmas break

Practice Begins Monday December 15!

Practice begins on Monday December 15th from 3:30 to 5:30. We will also be voting for captains on Monday. 2 senior girls, 2 senior boys.
